About Us

Discount Fencing Supplies is a Family Owned and operated business which operates a retail store and manufacturing plant at 11 William Banks Drive Burleigh Heads.

 

We started the Business as TGT Fenscape in 1994 operating a fence construction service on the Northside of Brisbane.  In 2007 TGT Fenscape became TGT FENCING  and we commenced online and phone sales of products such as Colorbond Fencing and Gate Frames.  In 2009 we opened our  first stores in Clontarf Brisbane and Burleigh Heads Goldcoast.  TGT FENCING became Discount Fencing Supplies in 2010  and we commenced manufacturing our own products. In 2012 we ceased installing to concentrate on the sale of products we purchased wholesale and manufactured ourselves. We also made this decision so that we were not in direct competition with our trade customers.   In 2017 we commissioned our own powdercoating plant allowing us to control our own time frames.  This allowed us to seamlessly manufacture and finish jobs on time.   

 

David the owner of the business has a lengthy background in the construction industry having constructed fences for over 20 years.  David also provided services as a Pool safety Inspector from 2011 to 2015 and has extensive knowledge relating to pool barrier regulations and is available to assist the DIY and trade customer with technical knowledge in the construction of pool fencing and other types of fencing.

We now operate our whole business from 11 William Banks Drive Burleigh Heads.  We manufacture powdercoat and stock a wide range of products from this site
